Dr. Tomlinson graduated from the University of California at Davis with a degree in Zoology before moving on to the University of California at San Francisco to earn his Doctorate of Dental Science. Dr. Tomlinson did a one-year hospital based general practice residency in Galveston, Texas with an emphasis on oral surgery. Dr. Tomlinson transferred to Indian Health Services and worked at a dental office in Taholah until starting a private practice in Aberdeen.

Outside the Office
Dr. Tomlinson is originally from Martinez, California, and has lived in Central Park for the past 30 years. He and his wife, Suzanne, have been married for more than 44 years. He is proud to say he is quite athletic for his age, and especially enjoys fishing and exercising. He also looks forward to his annual moose-hunting trip to Canada every fall.
As part of his commitment to the community, Dr. Tomlinson supports the Rotary and Grays Harbor College, and organizes a yearly free dental day for those in need.
